About
Anika is currently a student at NYU Tandon, getting her M.S. in Integrated Design and Media. Her interests lie in data visualization, data analysis, and music tech. She likes to combine music and art with data to make interesting projects that challenge and shape the way people see data.
She has 7 years of experience working in the data science, VR/MR, and research fields. In 2015, she was a Software Intern at J. Craig Venter Institute. In 2017, she started her journey as a Research Assistant at Ithaca College, and continued her research until her graduation in 2020. In 2019, she was a Data Science Intern at Booz Allen Hamilton. She started work full time at Booz Allen Hamilton in 2020, and as a Staff Data Scientist/Senior Consultant, left the firm in 2022 to pursue her MS full-time.
Outside of making pretty things on the screen, she likes to make pretty things in real life. Sewing, crocheting, classical guitar, and dance are among some of her many passions.
